Various cheese recipes can include natural herbs or combinations of herbs depending on flavor needs and tradition. Here are the most common, which we have available for sale:
Caraway seeds can be delicious & flavorful addition to a variety of cheese including Gouda, Tilsit, Havarti and Nikkolest. They can be mixed directly into soft cheese, added to cheese curds before pressing, or rolled onto the surface of soft cheese.
The Herbs de Provence blend is a wonderful combination of herbs that can add flavor to soft cheese including Fromage Blanc, Chevre and Fromagina. It can also be added to cheese curds before pressing, or rolled onto the surface of soft cheese. This blend includes:
- Rosemary
- Thyme
- Savory
- Fennel Seed
- Basil
- Lavender
- Marjoram
