Curd Knife

Curd Knife: A long bladed knife used for cutting and manipulating the size of your cheese curds while in the vat. Curd knifes can be extremely sharp, or dull edged depending on the needs of the cheesemaker. Curd knifes, like any utensil coming into direct contact with cheese curds, should be cleaned, sanitized and allowed to dry before each use.


Standard knives specific to cutting curd, will usually have a rounded end, opposite the handle, as to not damage the cheese making vessel.
